Yes and there is a large following of adult males watching it. Shocking as it is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is adored by countless adults. So much so that there is a gigantic website that shows off all the fanart, music, music videos, and so on that the fan base has made. It's very enjoyable in my opinion, but many a men have shied away from the show because it is "too girly". I highly suggest watching the first 3-4 episodes. If you aren't interested after that then oh well.
I am not implying that I might be that Steve you talk about, but the cake delivery seems to be very busy in the UK.
