Why is it that every vampir i see is ugly, I have a sexy lvl 23 Vampire and he looks young the key is to remember what vampirism does to your looks and make you character according to that. For Instance Being a vampire gives you pale skin and wrinkles so when you make you character give him real tan skin and make him as young as possible then when you turn your skin wont be as paled and wrinkled same thing goes for eyebrows just make them super dark and when you change it will be regular.

Redguard? Impossible. You must have cheated. Redgaurds are naturally immune to Vampirism. They have a permanent 'Resistance To Disease' Effect.

Someone had said the woman(healer I think) S. . was acting strange. I found her in the basement and she told me to go. OK. When I had walked a few feet, I turned around and walked back to her. She tuned invisable and started casting those frost looking lighting bolts at me. Can I kill her and get away with it when she's in that form?Do I need silver?

I killed her just as she turned and didn't realize it because I was moving too fast to notice the warning of what I'd just done. I took out that gate and went to sleep and had a visit from the Dark Brotherhood! So, I reloaded it and am having to go through it all again! Oh well. I just don't want to be a bad guy but as I said, I'd going to try to kill her while she's invisable as I'm pretty sure she's evil! Thanks. :)

@Songsmirth The count doesn't infect his troops and you probably shouldn't have quit for the sole reason that you got bit. You can cure it and prevent it if your fast enough after the first vampire dream comes up.

Im not saying Dup and glitch every skill to ruin the game, but it saves time.

If you had a profile you liked.. say a mage.. and wanted to try playing the game as an assassin/archer and sneak.. It would suck to have to delete your already good profile and start over..

So just boost your skills to what you need to suit you, while keeping in mind not to over compensate so playing can still be a challenge.

Vampirism just loses interest to me, half the game hours you cant be outside

When you fast travel in the sun as a vamp, you can die.

I don't Dup and glitch to the point of ruining the game either, only as a means to keep a powerful item (such as enchanted arrows, or azura's star to refill my Bows charge)

Also, say you want to jump higher? are you going to spend hours of your life jumping off houses? or are you going kill a few people.. take their shoes.. enchant them with acrobatics, dup and permachant them to get the same job done in around 10mins

@machinez112 thers a cave somewhere in the world i forgot where.but some dungeon that you have to swim in a pond inside it and at the bottom of it or soemthing like that will be a hood and some notes. the notes unimportant. the hood gives you crazy stat boosts and invincible to sunlight.

I used to have a character whom was a Vampire, I never had problems taking sun damage due to the fact that I established a hideout in leafrot cave.

I lived there during day (I love Roleplaying) Pretending I was studying, but I also trained my Magicka skills (I was a Nightblade Dunmer Vamp). I traveled during night by killing Bandits Highwayman and Traveling NPC's.

That was really awsome.

The only thing is that you"ll have to kill the inhabitants (zombies) around the 3 days if I;m not wrong xD

yea if you dont and you wait 24 hours then sleep / wait you go to vamp 50 sun damage +1 stats +10 wait 24 more hours you get a message of a dream vamp 75 sun damage +4 stats +15, dont get to 100,sun dmg +8 skills +20 but theres a major downside, no one will talk to you they just scream "Get away you filthy best!" or "you ain't getting any of my blood!" so feed regularly but if u wait 23 hrs feed then wait 1 hr you still go to 50 vamp. feeding doesnt reset timer, just puts u at 25 if ur above it.

Dark Elves have 75% Fire Resistance, so the sun doesn't hurt you. So, Dark Elves are the best class to be a vampire. There is also a chest piece armor that has 60% fire resistance if you aren't an elf. I don't remember what the name of the armor is or where to get it, just search google if you're curious.. Hope this helps!

Good idea! But I guess this only changes the weakness to fire and doesn't affect the sun damage at all?.... I wouldn't play as a vampire with beeing forced to play only at nights or inside interior cells. Just love the realistic day atmosphere of Oblivion too much. I mean it's kinda lore-true for vampires to suffer from sunlight, but i'd rather have some kind of bonus for night activities.

A good bonus :

Whenever I am stuck in a battle that's too hard, I just use WAIT and SLEEP until I turn to 100% Vampire.  You take A LOT OF damage from the Sun, but now you have FULL VAMPIRE strength and ALL the vampire bonuses and spells.

You get like +15 points to almost EVERY stat.

Vampire's are really good.

If you can, turn yourself into a vampire. Just make sure you stay at 25 percent vampire. When you WAIT or SLEEP, you increase to 50 percent vampire if you didn't feed on blood.

Being 25 percent vampire gives you 5-10 points boost to almost EVERY stat AND you get cool new abilities, AND you take NO damage from the Sun, so you can play like normal.

It's basically a free stat upgrade, with cool new spells.

Feed on blood 1 time, then it will make you be 25% Vampire. 25% Vampire does not take any sun damage and does not affect you when you talk to citizens.

As long as you do not SLEEP or use the WAIT feature, you stay at 25% forever. If you use SLEEP or WAIT, and 24 hours passed by, then you turn into a more powerful vampire with more upgrades and more stat bonuses, but you now take damage by the sun. So that means, you have to go feed on blood 1 time again, to go back down to 25% vampire.
