I do not generally believe in criticizing others, and I apologize for seeming critical here. My hope, however, is that you will take the time to examine the man and the philosophy (not a religion, and not incompatible with Christianity) that you are dismissing and try harder to live a little more like Christ. HH, a Buddhist, is probably one of the most Christ-like people alive today.

Not to mention, Tibetan "tantric deity yoga" has nothing to do with belief in gods. The "deities" are used for visualization and concentration in order to develop positive mind states (to develop compassion you meditate on compassion - that is, on the characteristics of the "deity" of compassion - no Tibetan Buddhist would oppose using Jesus for this goal).
As far as HH (yes, I will call him that - even though I'm Christian) going around the world and converting people to some satanic deity yoga, as you imply; once again, I urge you to learn a little about what you're criticizing. The dalai lama is well known for suggesting that people do not convert to other systems of religion (or non-religion), and simply asking them to practice love, kindness, compassion, and peace. How, as Christians, can you really find fault with this?
In response to the question, "what did he ever do for this country?": He has encouraged thousands, if not millions, of people to live a life of love and compassion (quite similar to someone I think you should be paying more attention to). I find it hard to believe that either of you could love thine enemy as the dalai lama does the Chinese occupiers of his home, when neither of you can show any respect, let alone love, for a man you have never met and who would most likely love you as brothers.
Furthermore, you contradict yourself, when, within 2 seconds of saying that buddhism has no gods, you tell your listeners that the dalai lama claims to be one of these nonexistent gods. Further still, you contradict your own beloved religion (the true essence of which I am an adamant believer in [so no calling me a heathen]) by being so unfairly critical of him in the first place. This sounds a lot like casting the first stone, as well as not seeing the log in your own eyes.
At the risk of sounding like a bigot (...) I strongly urge you to check your facts before spewing and propagating such nonsense. The dalai lama does not claim to be a god. I'd ask you to show me where you got this information. When you are unable to do this maybe you'll realize that it's all part of your (unexamined) preconceived notions.
from what I know, (and I am not a member of any particular religion) Tibetan Buddhism seems to be a religion of utter peace and love for everyone and everything. from what I know about the religious right in the USA, far right Christians such as these guys seem to be a religion of war and intolerance to anyone who doesn't follow their train of thought.
I totally agree with you. In fact it seems like these people earn their living spreading illwill in the society. One of the guy is nearing his deathbed and should prepare himself by analysing how much lies he told people. Infact they claim to know something, which ironical is all false.

By the way, he didn't want ppl to get convert into budhism. Infact he told ppl to practise love, compassion, peace, and religious harmoney which we realy need in todays world. That's exactly why he was given congressional gold medal n nobel peace prize.
