get limewire online, then download cool edit pro or adobe audition, and buy a 19 dollar mic at walmart. From there if you want to go serious blow a good $500 on ProToolsLE and a large-diaphram condensor mic. But always remember an artist's album is only as good AS THE PRODUCER ;)
