Well there's the KA24, 4cyl can be turbo'd like this. Inline fours are good engines but if you're looking for a 6cyl for your 240 you got the SR20 (with or without turbo) and the more expensive RB series (25, 26, etc) which are the engines in Nissan Skylines. RB's are the more luxury 240 engines, almost always boosted, they run around 10k for a full swap. SR's run like 2k for the motor + tranny, and I've seen KA's go for 900 bucks.

The sr20det is a 4cylinder...boosted stock in japan, here in the U.S we were not as fortunate. We got stuck with a truck engine.

& as for the RB engines, you have the RB20 also..dont leave that out. You can find full swaps for 5k and under...

if you build up a ka engine though and strengthen its parts it will have .4 liters more displacement besides that ka and sr engines are exactly the same its all nissan and its all badass just depends on how you build it besides if you buy a sr20det and have it shipped from japan your looking at 2 3 grand if your lucky it would cost half that to get a turbo kit and build up the insides of a ka engine
