for the rest I use behringer tube pre amps for getting the sound

do you think the pre-amp has helped you in achieving better sound quality? i actually use a behringer mixer and headphone amp as well, but the noise level is quite annoying, plus all the negative talk about behringer products have shunned me away from them...

however the sound quality you've achieved with the behringer product seem to prove otherwise.. once again, amazing job

Behringer is ok for home use I think. Build quality is not for professional use imo.

I also have problems with noise levels. Most of the time these are "grounding" issues. (ground loops and stuff)

A tube preamp won't help you with that.

thnx! I bought Elixir phosphor bronze nanoweb light .012 - .053 strings. I am not sure what was on my guitar first (stock strings), but the new strings sounds way better. I didn't know it could make such a difference.
