  • I had a late black s3 turbo drysump. owned it for 4 years. I've owned more reliable motors i've owned more powerfull ones as well. Nothing compares to one of these on a b road from torquay to shaldon. nothing. ferrari 328 beat that bmw m5 beat that lamorgini diablo, yup even beat that, not on the strait bit, but everywhere else. trust me if your looking for one buy it, learn to drive it properly, and you will never sell it. I did and i still regret it 7 years on.

  • LOL!!! sounds like a tractor yes!! untill you stomp on the pedal!! goes into pure 100% speed racer sound and speed!!!

  • That's insane!! what a monster this thing must be to drive!!!

  • Very nice, and I'm guessing it's quick. A friend of mine has an 1980 S2 with a Turbo SE motor and chassis. Leaves my stock S2 in the dust.

  • Love that car

  • Ahhh, thanks for the kind words...This vid is almost a year now and sound has evolved to a good V8 grunt (for a four pot!) Time to upload a more recent vid (in motion) I guess... weather is good and I will grab my camera this week-end. Watch this space!

  • Do that! There aren't many good esprit movies on youtube.

Next week wendsday is prom night, i am still searching for a Delorean but if i can't find it I will be driven to the prom in a Esprit Turbo.

  • What was it now...Esprit or Delorean (both are nice...)

  • Delorean, tonight @ 1900 it will pick me up. In perfect shape! imported from the USA

  • Hi there,

    Check out my new vid

  • lol, still sounds like a tractor!

Dont worry, dont take offense I have a real s4s and it sounds like crap when first started. awesome 300bhp engine though Ferrari eater.

  • None taken :)

this was the first start with the modified exhaust from a X180. Where are you from? Are you on the Lotus Esprit Forum?

    Ciao,

    JB

  • I am from the UK, no I am not in the forum. I may be selling it anyway. UK is a very expensive place to drive a car like that with tax and price of fuel, Plus the roads are getting worse, I need a tank or something. lol

  • A fellow esprit owner! (my dad has one)

britian is a nightmare with roads, more speedcamera's higher fuel prices and servicing costs are killing off the sports car market in the UK

    its a shame

Jimmy bondi! any word on the new video?, I really wanna see more of this car in action!
