  • "acesiii," I do so appreciate your note & would like to refer you to a practicing physician, for more information & guidance. I shall take that referral offline, to maintain your privacy. I do want to point out to all our viewers: there are, apparently, a great many people who have similar stories to "acesiii.".

It is the wish and intention of the Producers & Host of the "On the Edge" series to continue provide a fact-based forum for such conversations.

    Thank you, kindly!

    Dr. Jonas Moses

  • Liz, thank you for your posting. We appreciate any and all feedback. Pleased to know this proved informative and useful to you. Sincere best wishes for your son's future prognosis. Dr. M

  • The most important information to convey about this disease is the severe PAIN. To speak of this disease is to speak of patients in often excruciating pain. That is chronic)unending and often intractable. Opioids have fewer side effects than other drugs and are safer than the risk of suicide. The second thing that most characterizes this disease is suffering and the stress that you may bare at the hands of a medical system that will chronically meet you with denial and avoidance. HMOs?!
  • Thank you for the comment! I appreciate your input and agree that is it critical to consider that regardless of etiology, this pain is very real to the patient and can be excruciatingly difficult to tolerate and manage. Please share this program with your colleagues, friends and family. You already know how important it is to educate others about RSD...spread the word! Sincere thanks, Dr. Jonas Moses
