The issue isn't whether Japan has the right to eat whales. The issue is whether they should follow international guidlines for conservation, so they don't destroy the whale they so love to eat.

All Japan needs to do is follow all the conservation guidelines for whaling in International waters and they will gain the moral high ground.

yes, we do things that are cruel, and we know we do things that are cruel yet we still do them in order to live. however in my opinion, the biggest difference here is that we do not breed whales for eating, where as we do with sheeps and cows etc. by not hunting whales, we are not "discriminating" one species from another we are simply trying to "protect" a species from being extinct. If sheeps are on the verge of extinction tomorrow, we wouldn't be killing sheep for food either

I eat no Pig and no cow and no chicken and no fish. I am a vegetarian and when someone kills a cow is it no excuse to kill whales. To make something looking les worse due comparison with something else does not make it right. STOP THE SLAUGHTER !!!!!
