@genisxxx Yep, I agree with you to be honest. But, in Europe 10 kilometer on 1 liter is not that efficient. It's ok. But, you guys in America must be glad with that V6 engine, because we in Europe have also the 4 cylinder diesel. It's just as slow as a snail and noisy.
My uncle has an '09 dodge sprinter work van with just the 2 front seats but we bolted an '87 dodge van seat in the back and threw in an air matress and drove in comfort six hours up north with 7 people and plenty of extra room
I have the 2004 it's the best car EVER!!!! I drive it all over town with the kids and it does not feel like a big car at all!!! I can park pretty much anywhere although when we go into NYC I usually have to pay a Doorman to watch it for me on the street since you to need a 9' clearance and does not fit in parking garages also some fast food drive thrus don't work for the car but most do.
Seems like waaaay too much van for the average family with 3 kids. Seems more like a seating plan for an airport shuttle van service than a soccer mom grocery getter. Soccer moms are much cooler than those hockey moms...
I love the style. I can see this being used as a school bus, carrying students between school and home or on a field trip somewhere. How about a drive in the bus?

It's too EUROPEAN looking. Why do we need that style here? This is America. It's so ugly. I've seen some on the roads in Western New York State and man!! This is so "UNAMERICAN"
They need to make these a little more top-heavy. I'm thinking make a top-of-the-line model that, for an extra $5,000 or so, comes from the factory already tipped over.
He said that, basically, driving this all over the place all day is not a great idea. However, if you need to drive it around town (DOES NOT mention parking, as you probably would toting kids) it is okay.
In Mississippi you would need a class "D" commercial driver's license for this particular Sprinter. A Class "D" CDL is required for any vehicle that seats more than 10 passengers. I think that holds true for other US states as well.
EXCELLENT

There are also RV equiped versions of the Sprinter. I retire soon and this may be just the ticket for my new life.
Great review.

I am from Germany, I like the old Dodge Vans more... They had their own style, looked cooler. The new Dodge Van is boring, it´s like a Mercedes Van.
I bought me a Dodge B250 from 1987, and I am happy with "her" :-) .

@Ami8driver and the sprinter van is also rebadge to Freightline.

you can't take kids to soccer, but you can drive it around town? I don't get it.

Just tell the kids to play soccer in the van. It's almost regulation size anyway.
