my mom did it in thailand. They put some product on her eyebrows first. Some kind of gel morphine or whatever... And she had to wait 20 mins before the eyedrows tattoo. She told me she could feel the blade, scratching her skin. But it didn't hurt.

the girl next to her, on the other hand, was tattooing on her eye lids (fake eye-liner). Those are much more painful. She screamed like hell! >.<

This is eyebrow embroidery and it's NOT with blades. It's actually needles lined up together anywhere from 3-10 needles. It's an old school way of tattooing. I also do this as my profession. It doesnt last as long as getting tatted by a machine but it's a much more natural look.

I do this procedure. It's a great way to fill in your brows without the sharpie look people usually have with tattooed eyebrows.

After a couple of years maybe 2 or 3 years you would have to go back for retouch because tatoo eyebrows tend to fade away into a ashy green or burgundy color if you never retouch them.

@emiliajane71 becuase techinaly this is like gettin eyebrows tattooed with the tatto procedure its a needle goining in and out of your skin really fast with this one shes doint here cutting open skin and have ink on the blade. there more or less the same thing as gettin tattoed this is just with a blade thats why it hurts more. but the eyebrows look beautiful!

@Anna91lahuser Well, I hadn't heard of Japanese style until I saw this video but it looks like she is pushing the pigment in with a razor blade. It looks a bit crude and painful and could quite possibly result in an 'ashy' looking eyebrow a few months down the line. My tattoo machine is electric, very sophisticated and cost around £3,000. Be VERY careful who you let do your face. They MUST be properly trained, fully insured and capable of demonstrating an impressive portfolio.

@glockbanger I got it done while I used to live in Japan it was about 400 bux. it costs alot more but since I am friends with coworkers wife who did the recording, shes japanese and for bringing me to her salon she gave me a discount :)

Overall maybe in the states it can cost around 500-600 or if ur lucky even cheaper.
