  • lol i feel an attraction between the two main guys in this version

  • Is that Mario Cantone's half brother???

  • He's too zany...he needs to calm down and build. That's what really makes this song work.

  • best one on here!

  • this is a really good version:)

    well done everyone<3<3

  • This is many times better than a high school production of a Sondheim flop has any right to be. Dude singing is better than the original. Blows my fucking mind.

  • I loved this version. Could have been better directed I think but that actor's very talented.

  • very good! I liked my school's better, though.

  • Brilliant acting, really good version of this song. Well filmed as well which is nice!

  • we did this play and my buddy walker was charlie and he was fucking awesome

  • really good version of this song, this signer really nailed it.

  • i saw the LACHSA version of Merrily We Go Along...and frum seeing their version i luv this song! the actor was so fabulous!

now wtching this i realize tht this actor is gud too! a different perspective...but both are fabulous

  • this has good things about it...it's just so hard to grasp so many concepts of this show.

we're doing it at my high school this year and it's a complete beast to tackle all the mature themes that this show has

  • Very nice work! You clearly spent a lot of time on this number and it really shows.

  • I imagine those tour-de-force style numbers are difficult to carry off, but this guy manages it. Brilliant! Like the background acting of the chat show hostess too. Nice one!

  • overacted

  • I must say that the girl playing the talk show host reminded me of a young joan rivers....

  • Yeah - she has that jerky Joan Rivers body language and patter.

    Hmmm, I wonder why the director cast her in this part? ;-}

  • You are 100% right it is that jerky head movent. Leo you are a genius!! Any chance you could add NOW YOU KNOW?

  • In answer to 'muppetfest'...You might want to know the character and what is happening before you 'judge'a performance so quickly, however you are entitled to your uninformed opinion....and

OH..BTW..for your info...PaperMill Playhouse's RISING STAR Panel was entitled to theirs as well...and for his performance in this piece they awarded this actor THE OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR AWARD FOR 2008...over all other performances in submitted h.s. productions in N.J. Thankfully they disagreed with you.

  • The word I that comes to mind is "Complex". Sounds like a tough piece to perfect. Wonderful job, great work and not another run-of-the-mill musical.. cool!

  • LEO... add now you know please!! =]

  • It's not #1 on my list.. but eventually.

I don't like the audio on the video for that number. I'll need time to fix it.

    errr...LEO

  • This isn't one of my favorite musicals, but it is enjoyable to watch these exceptionally talented hs students perform. They're very professional.
