thts y hunters r pretty much almost slighty best over ll classes. ima marksmanship hunter.i can killl 29s in arathi basin easily cus i have alot of dps because i crit alot. marksmanship huntars will easily kill like 3 lvls ahead of u. go mm.

Meh, i'm not TribunalX, but i think i can answer your question.

Core Hounds aren't very much good - imo - and are overrated simply because of their awesome looks. And because they are Ferocity, not much in it for tanking.

If you're looking for a good tanker to keep aggro - look no further than the Tenacity tree - Crocolisks, Gorillas, Bears, Turtles, Rhinos, Worms, Crabs, Boars, Scorpions, And a variety of other pets... I'll make another comment, going into more detail.

Now, depending on what sort of tanking you wish to do, there are a few good selections amongst the Tenacity pets.

For this type of low-level instance pulling, you might want a pet with some AoE damage. A crocolisk or bear would be great for Swipe and Bad Attitude. Gorillas might also be a good choice, but not so much anymore, considering all Tenacity pets can have Thunderstomp.

For outside-world spot AoE-ing (like borean tundra) you'll need the same. Another comment inc with more detail.

...For world AoEing, you'll want a croc or bear for the AoE damage, as well.

For the stuff TribunalX has done - like UK normal and Nexus normal, you might want something more defense-like. A turtle would be great, because of it's Turtle Shell, reducing damage done to him by 50% for the next 12 sec.

If you don't like turtles, a croc/bear would yet again be your best choice.

for leveling, you will want something with a damaging special ability and a good focus dump

(...If you have no idea what Focus Dumps are, it's basically the small kind of...Crappy abilities like Bite, Claw, Rake)

...Something good for leveling, i imagine, would be the Crab... I know it's a bit lame, but the Pin ability CAN be a bit useful and damaging. And besides, Crab's get HUGE at lvl 80.

It IS the easiest, and doing this as any kind of Hunter but a Survival tank who OTed Kara was damn near impossible pre the BM buff... Glad to see this, actually, being a Pally main myself, one pulling Stocks is a tad hard being 74, then again, in a few more gear upgrades, my tanking will be enough to do this no problem like every other tank... Whoo...... >.> Anyway, the next thing I want to see is a Priest doing this, that would be great... Lol

this is awsome that you can do that, and your hunter tanking spec sounds really fun, but what does that get you, i mean your a hunter your job is DPS no matter how you spec your a ranged dps class not a tank, even if you could tank northerend instance you could never tank heroics or raids and that is what counts so it seems kind of pointless to perfect your character for something he is not meant for. but anyway awsome video was fun to watch :)

Nice vid but feigning death doesnt work in dungeons, if you use it, the mobs will not attack your pet but run away, back to their original spot, unless you or your pet has attacked them already.

It is one u didnt kill in that run....the stockade boss...u said: with help with my tracking system i saw that i missed "name"....but the one thing is u cant drag him so long without doing dmg...he will run back anyway....i boosted in stockade 100 times and never got the boss with me to the other side of the instance. So try one more time tribalxgunter and do the same and then go back to the boss....then u will se he still are there because u cant pull him so long.
