@ansha2007 If you say so,then jazz isn't suitable for mandarin nor cantonese because both dialects will sound different and "weird". Maybe it's because the genre is so new to Chinese music that you think it isn't suitable to pair jazz with Cantonese lyrics. Personally, I don't think Mandarin would exhibit the music well either. This song may not be a definite hit,but it showcases his willingness to experiment with different genres. Bottom line: It's out of the ordinary in the HK music industry.

I have been listening to Jacky since I was a kid. As a child,I was only captured by the melody and the fact that my parents love it,I enjoyed the music as well. As I grew older, I discovered how meaningful the lyrics are and his passion towards his music. His work as an artist is always refreshing, and I respect that dearly. I feel fortunate to be able to listen to his music. It is inspiring.

This is a very mature album in terms of musicality and style. I only wish Jacky would produce more original works in the future that transcends through the Pop genre without having to borrow it directly from a foreign artist.

Jacky is a true musician by now in terms of being a "vocalist". Any quality musical piece would sound good accompanied by his personal expressions thru his voice.

But for a jazz junkie, I'd say the standards for this song is pretty high. But the background music is slightly disappointing.
