First of all Knockout Roses are like any other rose, they can draw some pests.

But your Vole problem did not come from you planting Knock-out roses.

There's a great video on how to take care of Voles here on YouTube if your interested...

  • I bought a knockout a month ago and now all of the blooms have died. Should I plant it now? I live in zone 6. Should I plant in full sun? What other bushes can be planted with knockouts?

  • Stop spreading bad info. Do your research and grow them correctly. BAYER INSECT AND DISEASE PREVENTION. It is applied to the root system when you plant them. Rodents, slugs, and all will not eat them,.

  • Buyer be ware of these roses. The knockout rose attracts every kind of rose, root and leaf eating predatore you can imagine. My garden was invaded immediatly and attacked by Voles, mice, insects that killed all of my rose bushes. Im terribly disgusted and wont bother with my garden anymore. I tried every remedy but nothing worked.
