The Lafs got all hopped up and intimidated the islanders during the series with a lot of dirty play. Two years later New york fucked their shit up good in a three game sweep and nothing was ever heard from the leafs again.
You missed the best part of the fight, the beginning. It's great when a goalie starts swinging away with his blocker. This is the 1978 Quarterfinal series between the Islanders and Leafs. It went 7 and Lanny McDonald got the series winner in OT at Nassau Coliseum. A pretty big upset considering The Isles had about 20 more points than Toronto during the regular season.
