Those kind of things happen often, and I think the system is broken.

If you get shot once by an enemy, then get betrayed, it gives the opponent the kill instead of your team mate getting a betrayal. Then, of course if you get hit by an explosion, like in this film, your vehicle flys away - even if your not in it - gets you a kill.

Bungie broke Halo 3 hard. Hopefully Reach doesn't run on the same engine and wont have so many annoying problems.
