But i HAVE to say im sick and tired of american critics nominating and rewarding their stupid historical movies. FUCK historical movies. They may have good casts and performers but they do nothing noteworthy for the artistic value of the medium.

They are ALL eventually forgotten forever.

Good works of fiction are intrinsically superior to good works of whatever "historical piece".

Heath Ledger is a good actor, and maybe if I were in the position of the decision makers I would seize this last opportunity to give Heath Ledger an award for his legacy.
