This couppeld with the return force will promote back pain.
Well, I have only a litte experience (two years), but it seems that: in the Sun-salutation, if we can do the jump forward whit drawn legs, then we are close to that we can do the jump forward in Vinyasa. If we can't, practice more Sun-salutation.

@ekrist I would suggest more core work and hip openers. Notice the placement of knees and how much Uddiyana bandhasis used.
