Good on ya Tim, For those who are new to guitar one of the key elements is to keep it fun, There is a method to the madness with how chords fit together but it's not important to always know where one is, just let it rip and laugh a bit! One thing that can really help is to use a timer like set for 10 minutes of this sort of thing so you have structure to play round for a bit and then get into a different type of practice like scales or learning chord progressions.
Hey do you know any good Acoustice guitar songs? Sometimes I just like to chillax and play my guitar - but then I look stupid because I have no songs to play, so I often start playing random chords and its anoying after a while..
but ur good teacher:D i just practised that up down up down move without guitar,,i will get guitar in friday cause my ucnle promised to borrow his acoustic guitar to me
Maybe this is just me, but I am more comfortable strumming with my wrist, and this is no problem for any rhythm patterns, but once the palm muting is involved it seems the "elbow strumming" is alot easier and natural, since locking the wrist naturally encourages the muting where as wrist strumming takes a bit shaping on the hand and the wrist. For the sake of muting and other picking skills, do you think I should adjust to use my elbow?
best acoustic guitar song is "tahiti 80-something about you girl"..there are four of them but go 2 the one put up by fosburytour and it has over 7500 views..listen to it
well I guess it would be nice, if I could touch your body oh no not every body's got a body like you...ohhh. But I gotta think twice, before I give my heart away... :)
i just bought every dvd they sell , and there great. any body complaining about having to buy them, hasnt seen one. there two hour dvds , with song broken down into managable sections.
how do people get away with posting "blahblah guitar tutorial" or "how to play blahblah on guitar" on youtube? you say you cannot show how to play songs, yet you release DVDs on how to play the songs (of course you have to pay for them).. that kind of blows my mind
yea i think selling songs on dvd is the best sollution, you cannot buy rights when only posting free lessons...
Id like to see some more lessons on rock and blues licks for lead guitar. some pentatonic extensions/modes with typical good sounding phrases.. anyway keep up the good work! grtz

it is very simple
We have licensed for the rights to to teach SPECIFIC songs on DVD we PAY License Fees to do this legally and not be Sued
To license any song on the Internet Cost even more than DVDS
Hope that clears your mind
