  • They should have ambience micing as well. The Lowden holds the blasting strum the best. But if you are serious about your working axe go to a really big guitar store and spend a few DAYS at least, with breaks in between, and get what you feel good with - and forget about an extra 500. You'll get it back. Some Taylors can cut your fingerboard hand they're so sharp at the edges, for example. So, don't just settle or some internet order.

  • too Thuddy..no ring like a James Goodall!

  • Where is the Lowden guitar made? It sounds damn good!

  • @MsNickie1001 Handmade in Northern Ireland. Check out Nick Harper on YouTube. He uses nothing else and he's an amazing player.

  • Did Marty Schwartz have this guitar?

  • you should play something different for once on these videos.

  • @SleepyBridgeTroll good shout!

  • @SleepyBridgeTroll they play the same thing on each video so that you can compare what the guitars sound like better, if he played a different thing in each video we wouldnt be able to compare the sounds.

  • Do you guys still make these "How do they sound" videos? They're really fantastic and I personally think you should keep at em!

  • i played a guitar that looks like this but much more ornate, and it sounds sooo much better in person. theyre amazing guitars

  • too low volume on your vids

  • thanks a lot for doing this mate... appreciated !!!

really help us to choose the right one..

wish u use neuman U87 and API/NEVE on that shootout ;)

  • how much it`s

  • The 025 sounds better and warmer for general high technique and the D45 for strumming and fullness. The strum here is tinny.

  • Like all Lowdens...... it sounds great !

    Greetings from Holland.

  • great!

  • Hey wait isn't it the baritone model ?

  • Or how I discovered the sound I was looking for is Lowden and not Taylor.

  • @cheul I found out the same 10 years ago playing in a guitar store. Fingerpicked, Taylors are great but strummed they are no match for the great Lowdens. Mine is a D10. George, unfortunately, is no longer makes these.

  • what a great guitar!!!
