  • Hi, Do you know Valse des anges?? i ithink is a good song for you play it.

  • Fantastic playing!

I like this composition of Dyens too!

    thanks for sharing,

    Wolfgang

  • @Vreci

It is impossible not to fall in love with Dyens' works, though when you're practicing you hate him a bit, don't you? I'm now preparing his arrangement of "Alfonsina y el Mar" (fantastic) and at this moment I hate him remarkably.... Thanks a lot for watching, Wolfgang.

  • How did I miss this one?

Excuse me while I pick my jaw off the floor!

It is fortunate that we don't need fire place where I am during the month of December or those guitars that I have would keep the fire place burning.

  • @Stomo1709

... and how I missed this fantastic and motivating comment, my friend??? Well, this video is not good at all, I'm afraid, because this piece is clearly out of my possibilities yet, but I'll practice hard to get better, be sure!

Have a fantastic new year, my friend, and a zillion thanks for your support!

  • Really nice.. Your technic is impressive... Amateur guitarist ? I'm a eternal beginner but i think, you have all the qualities of a great guitarist.. I admire your work

I would take my time to look at all the rest of your videos

    With respect,

    Glenn

  • @GlennValt

Well, Glenn, you know I appreciate all these comments of yours especially, though in this case I only see my limitations (Dyens has no mercy.... ). But I promise to get better ! I'd love if you see the other videos, there are plenty of beautiful unknown pieces, and I'm sure you'll enjoy them very much. Thanks again!

  • Very clear and fine playing.

    Absolutly beautiful!!!

  • @wucharnboon

... less than I would've liked but.... I keep on practicing.... Thanks for such motivating feedback, mate.

  • Bravo!

  • A thousand thanks!

  • OH Jesus!. I love this song, and hear it every day:). AGAIN thank you so much for the music. i continue listening :)

    Harris

  • Thanks a lot, Harris! It is a pleasure to reveal these fantastic gems. Thank you very much for your enthusiastic support, mate. I need it!

  • Wow, I've never seen this one before. What a treat!! Scott

  • Dyens is always tricky, every piece is a little challenge. But his harmonies and resources are always spectacular. Thanks for watching, mate!

  • Wonderful! Sehr gut! Congratulations!

Bienvenue a mes videos, Rosy. Salutations depuis Madrid!

Un abrazo y 5* of course.

  • Jesus you nailed it again! Seems a pretty difficult piece to play and you played it with great emotion and skills as usual. Makes me pick up my guitar and play :)

    Ciao

  • Thanks so much, Gianni. You're right, it's difficult indeed, at least for me. I hope to listen to you soon, my friend.

  • Chapeau.

  • And what a pretty sister too!Fantastic Jesus!

  • Thanks Martin! I promise to play less bizarre things in the next videos...

Braaaaaavo.....

  • Grazie e mille volte grazie, amico. Sei veramente amabile.

  • What an interesting and engaging piece . I note you described it as 'elegant' Jesus. I actually thought it was quirky and somewhat cheeky in form but not knowing anything about Dyens, or the reason behind this composition, I bow to your better judgement.

And as usual, you play delightfully and with the skill of a seasoned player .

    ***** Stars my friend

    Regards Lesley

  • Thanks a lot, Lesley! Well, thinking about it , I think "quirky" and "cheeky" are perfectly applicable to this piece and to Dyens in general (who would use Van Halen's tapping in a classical waltz?). Even I'd say he is sometimes "unnecessarily difficult". But if you look at several pieces, you realize very few people gets more from a simple guitar than him. It's a pleasure to count on your support, mate. Hugs from Spain!

  • what a fine guitarist you are. i'm drawn to your new clips every time. I don't know much about Dyen's music other than to say it's very popular with guitar players. Your version of this piece has made me see why. Such musicality you have.

  • A thousand thanks, Tony. I can't imagine a better way to start a new week than reading this comment from The Great Troubleclef! You're right about guitarists' predilection for Dyens, perhaps because classical repertoire is very short yet and people like him has brought a little bit of fresh air. His versions are always tricky, bizarre and harmonically amazing. Knowing how you love Bazilian music, look for his "A Felicidade" version... A big hug from Madrid, my admired friend.

  • Excellent and beautiful! I am like Qpidon, I listen to your music over and over.

  • Thanks a lot once more, dear Chrissy. Pascal (Qpidon) is a very good friend. There's only one person kinder than him and who sends me more cumpliments: my mother! Have a fantastic week, my great friend. I'll try to post something new this same week.

  • Bravo !!!!!

  • Mil gracias !!!

  • you are one of the very few players on youtube that, after posting a new video, I will come back to listen again, and yet again. Third time arround and..oh well, its just great play, Jesus!

  • Your playing always comes from the heart and from the soul. I love this piece, really interesting and actually humorous. Bravo Jesus :-)

  • Beautiful Jesus, Bravo !!

  • A big THANKS, Elaine!

  • Bravo ...to the power of 10...excelent post as alway`s Jesus ..Thank you ! Kindest Regards Ben Ps: Worth the wait my friend !

  • THanks sp much, Ben, you're really very kind. It is a pleasure to count on your support, my friend.

  • wow, your guitarplaying is amazing! please keep on playing and sharing your talent with us!

  • Many many thanks, my friend. I remember you always suggested me somehitng especial for Christmas. Any suggestion for this year? Thanks again, mate.

  • Jesus: I'm sort of *speachless* ...man, you are become just so amazingly good.... its scary ;-)

LOVELY play Jesus, all the way.

    Bravo and bravo again!

    Pascal.

  • A million thanks once more, buddy. This piece exceeds my technique noticeably, but I've preferred to post it even with some glitches just to promote it among people who dodn't know it. I'll focus on more simple things in the future... and perhaps I'll try something on acoustic guitar, where you're a master. Hugs!

  • Hi,Jesus.

Every each performances make me surprise, it's fantastic!

    Angel

  • Un fuerte abrazo, Ángel, mil gracias.

  • Wonderful playing!!

  • Good one ***** . The thing at the end like a harmonic? What do you call that? John

  • Thanks a lot, John. If you mean the last note, it is called a "pizzicato". I promise not to post so many classical pieces for a while, ;-)

  • WOW i am speechless, great touch!

  • Thanks a lot, Khiem. Well, I've finally assumed I can't post it without any mistake... but I've decided to do it anyway because it is a quite unknown piece that really worths to be known. Thanks for watching!
