With the h-pattern shifter, do you have to shift sequentially through the gears? Or can you for example: Brake hard, disengage clutch, then shift from 5th into second, then after braking reengage the clutch gunning it in 2nd on the corner exit?

Thanks for the video. I agree with others that driving with one hand is silly and is certainly slowing you down. Only take your hand off to shift, preferably BEFORE you turn into the corner so you have two hands on the wheel while turning.

like the way you mount your gear and the reverse CSP , mouse and macbook mount is nice .

one small suggestion , take your hands off the gear shifter when driving, you'll shave more time

Wie ich sehe hast du die selben Probleme mit der Schaltung bei GT5 wie ich...

man hat dieses Problem immer wenn man z.b. auf dem Gas bleibt, Kupplung tritt und dann versucht einen Gang einzulegen... dann bleibt er immer schön im "N" weil es drei Befehle nicht verarbeiten kann... zum Glück ist das nur bei GT5 so denn bei Forza 3 gibts das nicht ;-)

the Wheel is better around something than the G25 / 27 and the CSP are more better than Logitech. Many of my friends have the GT2 with the CSP and everything is inspired.

Hallo, hab mal eine Frage, hast du vielleicht gute Settings für Gran turismo 5. Habe das Lenkrad seit gestern montiert und habe noch ziemliche Probleme damit. Erstens verliere ich oft die Verbindung wärend des Spielens ( GT5 aber auch bei F1 auf der XBOX ) und beim gerade ausfahren pendelt das Auto extrem stark.

Die neuste Firmware hast du installiert ? Notfalls hilft es die deadzone auf 1 zu stellen.

wenn es ein neues GT2 ist, dann ist die neuste Firmware installiert. Ein starkes Pendeln hat jedoch keiner von uns und wir fahren alle die neuste Firmware mit dem GT2 oder Turbo S Wheel. Es Pendelt etwas auf den langen geraden, aber als extrem würde ich es nicht bezeichnen und das ist ein Programmfehler von GT5 den die Logitech Fahrer haben das Problem auch. Aber du verlierst die Verbindung bei der PS3 ? hast du ein dongel ?

Ich habe keinen Dongel sondern per usb angesteckt. Lenkrad gibt plötzlich die lenkbewegungen nicht weiter, hab es nun eingeschickt. Zur Zeit einfach unbrauchbar für mich!

das ist ein Eigenbau aus Aluprofilen. Meine sind von der Firma smt-motachetechnik. Die Kosten belaufen sich ohne Sitz auf ungefähr 400 Euro, aber dafür kannst Du alles umstellen/Verstellen und Umbauen. Wenn Du mein anderes Video auch angesehen hast, da siehst Du das dort die Pedale noch nicht hängen, sondern stehen. Ist eben alles Flexibel.

the Clutch is bad on GT5 . The Shifter is good.

The Pedals are from Fanatec too. The Clup Sport Pedals.

@diedikkeuitdejury the clubsport pedals are THE best pedals to have ever been made. The brake pedal in particular is outstanding, offering loads of resistance and also the abs vibration, and ability to change brake power using the potentiometer on the back. Get it, you will never need any other pedals ever again.
