I wouldnt know if Howard is funny anymore since he went to Sirius, but when he was in his last years on radio he was boring as hell. Imus stopped being funny when they took him off drugs and booze. Opie and Anthony are the only funny ones out there.

You are right in that Americans have freedom of speech, but it does have limits when it comes to a radio station where you are degregrading a group of people, i.e. blacks and women which is what Don Imus did. Radio stations have their shock jocks sign some contract saying they are not alowed to say those things. Freedom of speech should not come at the expense of others. You must be twelve years old or have an intelect of a 12 years old.

I've seen transcripts of Stern shows that contained comments that make Imus look like a Boy Scout by comparison.Imus got the boot because he wasn't a "reliable" democrat.stern never got the boot because he was.
