saw these guys in exeter on friday, i only now realise how impossible it is to catch that atmosphere. best gig of my life! go and see them at any oppurtunity you get!
This is probably the most important and ambitious song of their career. I didn't like it at first, but now I can't get enough. Lyrically and musically, it pushes the limit with astounding results.

they lack that New Orleans passion and soul they ok for who they play for they couldn't stand a chance against the youngest brass in new orleans just type in (TBC brass band) and enjoy
They're not a New Orleans brass band. They aren't any typical Brass Band you would hear anywhere else. They are musical pioneers who work to create art and change the face of the cliched music industry.
If you want the New Orleans sound, I suggest you listen to their first album as the Youngblood Brass Band. It's called Word on the Streets.
how can you tell the difference between the two sax players (there's two right? zach lucas and tony barba i believe) they both sound incredible but i don't know who is playing when on a cd because it doesn't tell me!
PacManPhreak, you're quick to judge Youngblood. They're playing with acoustic instruments, and I think you should revel in that in itself. This song in itself is fantastic, instrumental wise and lyrics too. If you pay attention to what he's saying it has a great deal of clout. If you've listened to this entire CD then you might be surprised some of the tracks are purely instrumental. The sax player is incredible and the percussionists are phenomenal.
listen to dhlayered he's the only one who knows what he's talkin about ....brass bands in southern states of america have been using these instuments for well over a hundred years
actually, yes they do. new orleans brass bands, which are the american bands most responsible for youngblood's sound, have had saxophones since their inception more than 100 years ago.
How can there be this few people in the club! the world ain't fair. See you in Landshut guys.

theese guys are performing shit music with good instruments
keep the crap with the rap and dont bring real instruments into it
and dont call yourself a brass group when your using other instruments which arent part of brass
