Good quarterback for 3rd and 4th grade but I would have to agree with ishkid04 that he isn't the best in the nation believe me he is a great player but with his team makes him as good as he is and if he beat this 19 year old kid how much did he weigh? Is an athletic person? I would have to say that this kid from my town is a much better quarterback and he has literally just started football and won a Superbowl his name is Eric check him out

J.C. Shelton has played 3 seasons for the Galena Bulldogs. His team has gone undefeated two of those seasons, and only had one loss the other season. He has won 3 championships, 2 superbowls, and been named all conference quarterback twice. Not to mention he also led the team in passing, rushing, touchdowns rushing, touchdowns from kick and punt returns, led the league in every quarterback statistic, and only played one or two quarters a game because of the 20 point lead rule. Score 20 & he sits

@justicedrey Im not saying the kid isn't good.  All im saying is that to say he is the best in the nation is very unrealistic, have you seen some of the kids on youtube, and can still honestly say he is the best in the nation. Maybe you should say in your small area, cause he is not playing any of those inner city schools like the pop warner leagues. Where the kids are bigger, faster, stronger, and more athletic than him. In a nut shell hes not playing against anyone good enough say that.

Also..J.C. and another Kid on his team named T "TD" Lane were the top two fastest kids in league play this year...J.C. was just a little slower than T Lane...and to show just how fast they are...just the other day I saw T Lane (3rd grader) beat a 19 year old kid in a footrace...T beat the 19 year old buy about 5 feet in a 40 yard dash. Watching J.C. shelton play is like watching Joe Montana play against children and watching T "TD" Lane run the ball is like watching barry sanders against kids.

hes alright i don't know if youve seen inner city footbal but the competition is 3x better and im not sure he would be running like that. parents, and brothers and sisters stop saying someone is the best in the nation especially if your from a small town, not the same type of competition.

@ishkid04 Actually he's a lot more than an alright player...J.C. Shelton is such a smart Quarterback, it doesnt matter that he was only in 4th grade last year...He was calling audibles in about 25 percent of his plays..He would run a hurry up offense and go with no huddles for 4 downs and he was such a great team leader that the whole team would be on the same page and know exactly what to do when he called audibles...They almost never had a penalty all year...it was rare 2 see any flags thrown
