I want to write the defining book about the 60's era. I want write book sides of the story (what we know and what we don't know) of what happened between June 1963 (the murder of Medger Evers) and April 1984 (the murder of Marvin Gaye-ashes to ashes in other words). I want to title it "Years of Believing, Legacy of Death: The Last Word on the 60's, The Generation That Created It, and The Eight Murders That Tore Apart America".

my oldest brother missed vietnam due to flat feet, my second oldest brother got caught in it instead in the army, i was born in 67, an 80's teen, i have to say between the 70's and the 90's i got lucky with a pop culture decade. i remember pot in the 70's my big bro cleaning it on a newspaper with a playing card. and wonderama..jackson 5 cartoons.
