hey man i got a 1963 mercedes benz 220s in my side yard and my god it has the best bench set ever the springs are in great shap and the only down fall is that the engine was pulled out and put back in so its ganna be a bitch to get running again cuz like you said its a rare car and parts are hard to find and when you do they are expensive i cant belive you found one in that good con-dish. well hope you injoy your car as much as im going to have fun fixing mine ha

Hey there..that's a wonderful example. These were extremely pretty with wonderful lines and just modest enough to have fun in. I own a 59' 220SE Ponton Convertible way over here in Malaysia. There were only 18 right hand models ever made so you can imagine how rare it is! Took us 6 years to restore and a couple of visits to Germany for spares and the tyres are from America!! Go figure! But a joy to drive and a wonderful cruiser.

This body style is commonly called Ponton, Google Mercedes Benz Ponton to find more info. The 220S was the top of the line besides the fuel injected 220SE. Looks like a nice original car!

This is the Ponton. W105.....sir, if I were you I'd keep this. There were just so many made....you may just have something very valuable on your hands. I think there are less the 30.000 made.

@bahtalorom WOW Thank You i looked that up and it does look alot more like the one i have there seems to be alot of extra trim on this car that i havent seen on alot of the others. Thank You for your comment. I LOVE Mercedes Benz and just couldent place the chassis on this one..;-) The other ones look close but the W105 is exactly what it is Thanks again...Cheers
