Well Suda51 actually would like Travis in the next SSB. He's friends with Masahiro Sakurai (the desiner of SSB). Also being a Nintendo character isn't a requirement to in SSB anymore, I mean now that Snake and Sonic became the newcomers of the last game.

I'm both for and against it

For: Travis wouldn't break the no gun rule, has a lot of grapples in his games so grabs would be easy to design, his personality would really make him stick out

Against: He's a bit on the mature side, i know Snake's story has always been mature, but NMH is pretty high with sexual inuendos and language and i wonder if it'd be Travis without all that, trying to imagine him interacting with other characters, well i can't see it happening, but hell who knows

Snake does have mature story but they really didn't use any of it in SSB and most likely they wont include any of Travis's story too.

They let Snake us grenades, rocket launchers and mines. Travis's beam katana is the least of their concerns. Plus most of Travis's moves are perfect for SSB with a little adjustments of course.

But I'm still unsure if they'll let Travis in or not.

Jack has a BIT of style, its just that they made him so macho he's never willing to admit how BS hiw world and his abilities are, Travis is seen many time "winking" at what see as a joke, he breaks the fourth wall, Jack keeps to himself and gets harder to communicate with, but that's what made him cool to begin with,

Plus, MadWorld already explored every anime cliche out there, so there CAN'T be a sequel.

Well, Jack was kind of the hyper-macho, pumped full of testosterone bad-ass that has become so freaking typical in modern video games. But the violence in MadWorld was so over the top it felt just goofy, which isn't a bad thing. It felt more like a bloody Wile E Coyote and Road Runner cartoon than some steroid fueled brah game.
