Man the ps2 was such a great selection the ps3s' is too but it doesn't seem as powerful i mean sure there was the astounding Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Resistance, White Knight but the ps2 had much better selections it had Yakuza, Xenosaga, FFX, Persona, Onimusha, Jak, Ico, The Dot. Hacks' and much more.Just want to know where did all those ideas go?For instance where did the rpgs go?There's 2 maybe 3 a year now, why can't we go back instead of slowly erasing the great games that everyone loved?

The main consumers of JRPG (mainly missing on ps3) is japan, since developing has become so expensive this gen (from 5-20 million dollars to make a AAA game in the ps2 we have gone to 50-100+ to make one this generation), japan developers have moved most of their investment to 1) appeal north America more since they are the biggest market, so less JRPGs are been made or they fill less like JRPGs (look at FFXIII) 2) move to portable consoles, specially to the Nintendo DS.
