Man, I really feel for you. I know it must be difficult for you to lose your step-dad. Even though this was a long time ago. I lost both of my brothers, one of which passed away at birth, so that is difficult for me. My dad also knew someone who passed away of pancreatitis and he was a big part of our life. I can kinda see what you've gone through, my dad died about 3 years back but i remember it like it was yesterday and i remember that me and him got in a big fight and i said i hate him and then that very night i woke up and i heard an ambulance and then i waited and waited for something to happen. The only really loss vie had was my dog I had him as a puppy. I went to school that day, I was 10 then my mom told me we had to put him down I just couldn't take it I watched my best friend as a puppy close his eyes I'm very sorry

Tragedy has the worst timing and temper, but I'm glad I came to watch this video again. Last Friday my cat who I had since I was a little girl and who I loved so, so much got out of our fence (a few planks fell over in a storm) and ran off. I lost him 10 years ago, and there are days that I still miss him. I understand that everything is still a blur for you man, and things are tough, but keep your head up. Just don't give up. The most important thing to do, is remember and cherish all the good times you had with him, those are never going to leave you.

I'm so sorry, Damian. You are such a beautiful young man. My dad and brother died about a month after you made this video. They died the same day for completely different reasons. Dad had pneumonia; brother died of cancer. Life will never be the same again. Death does make you appreciate life, though. Thank you for sharing your pain.

i have been throw the same thing, i know 100% how it feels, my blood dad abandon my mom when i was born, and my step dad rose me from birth, we was a wonderful father. he passed about 2 years ago from liver cancer.

I'm so sorry for ur stepfather's death. I also lost my stepfather when I was only 8. It was a tuff time for a year or so. My mom took it VERY hard. You lost alot of people and so have I and other people. I didn't have my stepfather long. He was only with us for 3 years and was a very good stepfather. I hope u were able to say goodbye to him. I wasn't able to say goodbye. I was taken to my cousin's houyse that night. God bless you and ur family :)

damien im sooo sorry i have a storie my dog ranger was a great dog and this is not the same but stick with me anyways my grandma came home and the fisrt thing she did was take out the dogs and i went out because my grandpa was complaing about how i didint go out with them so i went out my this car drove away and i seen my grandma holding ranger he's been runned over and we took him in the house i cussed at god but afterwards apologized and i was crieng and then we sat him down n a table and died

I watch her die a little more everyday I can see the life draining from her, it hurts so bad sometimes I think I wish her rest and want it all to be over. but my whole family is dead besides her and she is literally all I have left. when she is gone I will literally be the last one of my family line. so I know what death is and i am sorry. very sorry

I'm sorry Damian, i know whats it's like myself, I lost my father 2 weeks before I graduated high school. He was my hero and I was so lost and hurt from it. I lost him 10 years ago, and there are days that I still miss him. I understand that everything is still a blur for you man, and things are tough, but keep your head up. Just don't give up. The most important thing to do, is remember and cherish all the good times you had with him, those are never going to leave you.

I know it's a few months late,but I just saw this video for the first time. I'm very sorry for you loss. I know all about the wave of emotion it's very hard :( I lost my Dad. It will be two years Aug 19th. It does get easier as time goes but just keep the memories alive and pass them on and his sprit will also :) I'm sure he's so proud of you. One night, my parents and 3 year old sister went to my cousins.
I had just got back from the movies with friends.
I sat outside with him in my arms for 3 hours.
He died right there, with me watching, with me holding him. I'm sorry a dog doesn't stand a chance against a dad but I just wanted to share.
