It had absolutely nothing to do with the original story, and I was severely disappointed to see that they had replaced Selina Kyle with this nobody, "Patience Phillips". I can only hope that Anne Hathaway does a good job portraying Selina in the movie coming out next summer, and be grateful that the producers are using the original Catwoman.

@Samoyeds7 its actually very irritating to compare halle berry to michelle pfeiffer, they are both equally beautiful and i personally think they both played their roles extremely well. This is not meant to be Selina Kyle's Catwoman. She ISN'T playing the role of Selina Kyle so she isn't going to ACT like the Catwoman that Michelle Pfeiffer played. Plus, this was Catwomans' first costume, THEN she adds on the whips, claws and 'decent' mask. she also isn't meant to BE a cat but ACT catlike. sheesh

As shitty as this movie is you can be sure to know there will not be anything nearly as cool as this fight scene with the TDKR version of Catwoman because Nolan is so damn "realistic" that everything becomes boring and he can't shoot action for shit anyway. You see this Nolan THIS is how you shoot a fight scene and she didn't use her elbows once.

@Melantho55 Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman was nothing like DC's Catwoman. She got a resurrected by a bunch of cats just like Patience did. Michelle's Catwoman was Selina Kyle but Selina in comics is just a normal woman with a knack for cats and an amazing cat burglar. I liked both versions though bt i am tired of the whole 'resurrection' concept. I have high hopes for Anne and the Dark Knight Rises cos neither Pitof nor Tim Burton did justice to her character.

@GBIgBALL Uhhh, no....the first Catwoman from the comics was Selina Kyle...who was white. Halle Berry's Catwoman was not from the comics at all. She was a totally different character created only and specifically for this movie.

@Melantho55 Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman was nothing like DC's Catwoman. She got a resurrected by a bunch of cats just like Patience did. Michelle's Catwoman was Selina Kyle but Selina in comics is just a normal woman with a knack for cats and an amazing cat burglar. I liked both versions though bt i am tired of the whole 'resurrection' concept. I have high hopes for Anne and the Dark Knight Rises cos neither Pitof nor Tim Burton did justice to her character.

This suck(pardon my language)...Halley why didn't you turn down this role. Really best cat woman was from the 1992 batman returns. This is crap. Really she is not a hero.....god Hollywood is making garbage since 2001. Cgi overload, male double stunt. No plot, no character development,bloody list goes on. Halley great actress this movie got horrible reviews, and I am great full I didn't buy this movie.
