  • Nice job, glad to see you used punched steel angle to mount it to the ceiling and threw out that flimsy crap they usually come with.

  • damn nice car to :D

  • got that installed a couple days ago

  • my craftmaster motor head started to smoke we r buying a LIFTMASTER

  • @mikegeor holy crap really

  • I tend to not like the "Do-It Your self" Models, I like the professional brand openers, like LiftMaster.

  • i havee the same model

  • is it craftman

  • yes

  • Also it should only take a few drops at each contact area, and if you do it right there will only be a few drops overall on the concrete and your door should operate quieter.

TIP! Dont rush it, let gravity spread the oil.

  • thanks for the tips!

  • Look's good! If you oil the roller shafts with 30 to 50wt oil (It is a little tricky, open the door about 6-8", oil the contact of areas were the shafts are held in the loops at the bottom left and right corners of the door, oil the hinges then put some inside the roller tubes by spinning and sliding the roller shafts left and right, do the same to the draw bar pins or bolts)should knock out about 70% of the telegraphing clatter. Do not use WD40 or grease!AND WATCH YOURE FINGERS! David C.
