@reptilesr Fraps does? For me it's the opposite, when I use fraps I get no slow down. When I use regular video recorders I get lots of slow down. What may help is if you use a program called CPU-control in combination with video recording. It lets you redirect the computer's power to certain programs, like mugen to make them run smoother.

@Realscorpion33 it won't let me. fraps doesn't recognize it as a program and I forgot what I did to get it to work in the past

@reptilesr Fraps does work, that's what I'm using now. You have to change the video settings in mugen's .cfg for it to work.
Bit mode = Page Flip
Render mode = OpenGLScreen
The best compressor I've found to get the videos small for online is VirtualDub. Keeps them pretty sharp and running smooth.
