@flipsidedogchop Rob Smedley is from Normanby, just outside Middlesbrough. Neither Normanby nor Middlesbrough are part of County Durham - for ceremonial purposes, both are in North Yorkshire. Middlesbrough is certainly part of the Teesside region, but not all of Teesside is within County Durham (I'm from Hartlepool, which isn't quite Teesside, used to be in Cleveland and is now, ceremonially at least, in County Durham...). It's a fairly complicated business, all told.
