I tried a G tech on my 2011 Ford f150 with ecoboost v6. It showed 14.93 at 94.0. I ran a 14.848 at 93.6. That is the only time I have tried it. I plan on trying in in couple of vehicles at the track in the future to see what it does in faster and slower vehicles. I posted this video on youtube for others to see.
I had the orignal GTech. Then I had the GTech SS which I tested at the strip and it was accurate. Too bad it was stolen. Saving up to get the new one.
i have this gtech the old crappy one and dynolicious on the iphone, i find dynolicious better! and my phone is always in my pocket, and you can email results instantly... my results are the same, you can adjust roll out etc... and on the track its equally as accurate
I have G-tech, on this video it's great accurate, but in my country with bumpy roads, it can be inaccurate by more than second. And if U want to be accurate, wheel must be straight all the time. If I steer just a little in one side (about 2 meter's), it's confuse itself and give inaccurate measurings. U will understand why I think that G-tech isn't a king :)
I think G-Tech is awesome for what it does ...ive seen or heard other people talk shit about this product but mostly it was because they were poorly educated or they did not mount the product correctly ...I feel this is an awesome tool to learn more about your driving skills and your car ...i just ordered myself the Pro RR version and am eagerly waiting to get it and do some runs !!!
yup yup i did get it ...its a fun and awesome tool...i sadly have not used it enough to use its full capabilities ..i did take it to the tracks and my runs were about a fraction of a second off....i think if i adjust the pitch and dive of my car i can get it closer to the real times.....i stand by my frist comment !! lol
this is a good video. the creator showing how accurate it can be. like you've said before, if you have the pitch, staging and mounting of the gtech all right, you should get good results, I love my g-tech so thanks for making it :D
G-Tech has always been a great tuning tool...
