  • one of my favourite tracks of all time! i love to just get mad stoned on acid and go crusing in the night forest blaring this track. it transforms the world before me. even without acid or any drugs, this track will do the trick. its a drug within and of itself!

  • I remember when I thought noise sounded like pretentious nonsense.. then i happened to be at a Bonnie Jones performance at my university. I didn't know what I was 'supposed' to get out of it, so I thought - 'well it's sound and sound is vibrations passing through cells, I'm made of cells so I'll shut my eyes and see how this stuff feels in my cells.' Bingo - that for me is what noise is all about, tuning into the physical sensations, a whole new world of brand new immediate experiences <3

  • @mskj444 Lovely Assessment!

  • @arehumansgood

    enjoy your aspergers

  • @arehumansgood animal collective suck.

  • @arehumansgood What are you talking about? This is some of the best stuff out there. And have you ever even listened to AC? The real AC? If you ever listened to anything other than MPP you'd probably find that you actually hate them... Try albums like Hollinndagain or Here Comes the Indian and come back here and complain about how noah lennox actually writes this "garbage". Hipster.

  • @arehumansgood

anyone who relies on a beat to drop in order for music to be considered good, isn't really listening to music.

    LISTEN, --> LIIIISSSTEN!

  • in hell you're made to drink all the beer you dont finish before you put your can down at bro parties

  • Si estuvieron en Perú los queremos en México!!!

  • Such a good song and video.

  • THESE GUYS ARE A FUCKING BUTT FUCK!!!!

  • youre an idiot

  • Congratulations. Today this video was selected by the NYC Punk Rock Evolution Foundation. way to go.

  • Buenos Noches ummmmmm Black Dice.

    Nowayvo is wavyyyyy!

  • black dice en peru????lo mejor

  • I liked 'em better when they had Hisham but they still are great

  • Uhhh isn't this "roll up"?

  • they must've wanted to change the name at some point

  • oh alright

  • @LurkKlerk it was originally called rip it up

  • I bet God listens to this song while he flies through space too!

  • @stovedale I agree with stovetop's comment!!!

  • bd is sweet live. played some good songs from broken ear record.

i love track 2 on beaches and canyons. peace.

  • i love seeing bands like this live.

its really interesting to listen to their music that sounds incredibly dense and complicated ans then see them do it live and watch their whole process

  • It was a rough start, but they sure start gelling about 2-2.5 minutes in.

  • pan sonic is another great experimental eletronic group. i think black dice must have been influenced by them in some way.

  • Man this song is so awesome. It makes me feel so mellow.

  • the first two minutes are kinda hard but then it grows on you.

obviously, it's not for anyone who isn't well into the experimental.

and you got to be listening to this on some good speakers to hear what they are doing. it sounded absolutely ass coming straight out of my computer.

  • This muisc in the vein of Metal Music Machine from Lou Reed morons! What can we expect of people like you who watch this kind of tv shows where it's all dire straits cover-groups???

  • @mbellidoh MMM is THE CREATION OF THE UNIVERSE

    and the GOD OF SOUND

  • creo que he visto este video como 300 veces... bd se paso !

  • my bad. its "GORE" not rip it up.

  • This is called Roll Up, from Load blown Lp. not rip it up. FYI.

  • I like it, but it's annoying when BD just becomes batshit random.

Stick with that sweet ass guitar bit.

  • Boss Pedals, Roland Samplers, Gibson Les Paul, Marshall Amps... This guys are awesome!

Al fin algo bueno en el Jammin'

  • Nice one for sharing this. I like the fact that they alwaya look like they're enjoying themselves as much as their audience when they play.

  • Too bad you are unimpressed with Black Dice. Perhaps it is their mining of a non-normative sound model that gets to some people...and it's pretty dancey too.

Anyway, thanks for posting this. More please!

  • awesome, glad someone posted this

  • Breeeegs- music is based on individual differences in humans: perception. If you are angry at the ease at which a person could make a complex sound (with little experience/talent) then I am in partial agreement; for instance just look at such software as Reaktor........ Skrewell was an ensemble for this that basically generated sound by itself....

  • I'm sorry...call me close-minded, traditionalist, what you will...but i simply cannot accept this is as music.

  • then don't. it really doesn't matter whether you think this is music or not. making a comment like that is counter productive. if you don't like it, don't listen to it, and for us who do enjoy it we will continue to enjoy it.

  • funny thing is you sit one of the Luddites in front of a heap of electronic things (see I dunno what all that stuff is - wish i did) and they'll produce fuck-all of musical worth. like most things it's damned easy if you know what you're doing.

i thought the point was to make music using available technology? explore possibilities? if you don't like it's no biggy

  • they don't use computers. samplers and delay pedals

  • Oh, excuse my mistake. The music definitely does not suck now.

  • welcome to 20 years ago :)

  • this will be rad on vinyl.
