  • nagyon tetszik gyerekek.

  • @YouriCarma

This is too subjective - so I'll say IMO this is a standard across the generations. The current generation doesn't sing "White Christmas" in December. That doesn't mean it isn't a "Standard".

  • how the fuck can 630 people dislike this??!!

  • Phenomenal keyboard is phenomenal.

  • JUST FANTASTIC!!! ERIC B UNREALISTIC VOICE!! ABSOLUT FANTASTIC!!

THAT WAS TIMES WHEN TALENT MATTERS THE MOST!!!

  • i am in love with that voice pure soul

  • Un groupe précurseur, souvent sous estimé, pourtant trés bon.

  • Haha compare bands like this one to the the dog shit boy bands we have around now

  • This is better then every other song of today...For shame what our society has come to.

  • HOLY CRAP, the singer looks like joseph gordon-levitt!

  • What do you guys think, is the House of the rising sun a prison, a whorehouse or a hotel in which prostitution found place?

  • @Sambuca432 im not sure perhaps thats what they were goin for though u know leave it up to the listener??

  • este é o video antigo com a maior qualidade que eu ja vi.

  • I wonder how such a pure British group did a pure American accent sound. One of the greatest masterpieces ever made!

  • @tigerbim1 Its actually quite common. A lot of artists from other english speaking countries make their songs more appealing to the largest market by taking on an accent. Expecially true for country and western and RnB

  • the guy on the keyboard is on fire

  • @bird79966 it's Officer Pavel Andreievich Chekov before his job as Navigator on Starship Enterprise. ;-)

  • he got i great voise

  • I heard the muse cover of this song before i heard the animals cover and i like them both equally because they have such distinct differences in the voices and the sounds. both bands did an amazing job though.

  • Loved how it was used in the Casino movie at the end...

  • They all just look freeking awsome in this video

  • May be one of the greatest songs ever. Loved since I was a boy.

  • I read in an interview with the Animals and they claimed that "The House of the Rising Sun" was written in England and brought to America back in 16th or 17th century. There is very little evidence to support this claim but...Isn't it funny how nationalistic people can get? I guess maybe they wanted a closer connection to the song.

  • This is Megan Fox's favourite song :p

  • Love it

  • C S F

  • i love the fact that even though this is such a moody serious song that the guy smiles like he does at 3:34-3:52

  • One of the greatest songs ever written. An absolute timeless masterpiece that is almost 50 years old!!!

  • @dave01702 - apparently the song is centuries old starting as an English folk song and then taken to the colonies and relocated to New Orleans

  • I've found that the text was written by Josh White

  • i like the fucking music !!! but the sound is shit .... also das essen ist echt gut hat aber nicht geschmeckt... and i like your pussy ... and i drink more gin .. fuck you manuel boy oder doch roy ^^

  • @akaBuSkEr kannst du shut the fucken up? lol

  • @reservoirdogs34 Because his most recent songs/videos are embraced by an international market, where most of his views are coming from. "Toma" doesn't have more views than this.

  • That is how you make a fucking music video.

  • Hung out at the House of the Rising Sun back in the 80's. But we weren't doing any gambling. Lost a lot of friends out there, baby.

  • @atomicpunk48 Your Comment Made Me Lol But Made Me Annoyed At The Same Time.

  • @DJNIGHTMARE3 I understand. Sorry. I guess you know what I'm talking about. Those days started out as fun, then they turned into a nightmare. But this is still a great song!!!!

  • Really like the way he says New Orleans.

  • He doesn't mean shite, he just knows it is good.

  • This video is wonderful and better than most today's pop videos. Why? Because I look into the singer's eyes and I see he really means what he's singing and it's real.

  • What happened to all the singers with real male voices, this guy, Jim and so on.

Now it's Enimen and so on.

Women are weakening us slowly, we are losing the war of gender.

  • good song , great quality video .

  • You are correct about a great voice leading the way. The musicians are top notch to accompany him and make it soulful. I was moved. And that is what music is all about.

  • @58tubular this is what it is about. real art irrespective of era, genre, media and all that is prohibitive. a bygone time and place i could have only wished to be a part of...shame things turned out like this.

  • this song makes me happy, because its beautiful, but also makes me sad. only because the age of musicians making honest sounding music like this is over. corporatism has taken over music, which in turn, means music is dead. RIP honest musicians.

  • @yamakashii Many musicians suffered drug and alcohol problems , Hank Williams being one of them.

  • @yamakashii You say that like rock n roll wasn't revolutionized by people on drugs. Without drugs, there would be no beatles, hendrix, doors, the list goes on. Drugs were important.

  • @yamakashii It all still existed. Just not in the media.

  • @yamakashii Well, someone needed sex and naked bodies, because this song's about hookers. :-P

  • @yamakashii i think you'll be surprised as to how many musicians do drugs, since it's inception and popularity since silent films. Sex appeal has always played a role in marketing...but i do see you point. anyw hore take care people.

  • @yamakashii Too be more precise, a time when actual talent was required to get anywhere in the music industry.

  • @ThomasWA86 Oh, no it wasn't. Trust me, there was plenty of crappy pop music back then. It just didn't last till now. (:

  • @yamakashii I couldn't stop pressing the vote up button for your comment. I agree 100% percent with you.

  • @postamode Thanks :) Im glad you share my point of view.
