  • Lap record is 2:06.9 in a 680hp Holden. 6 minutes in a Pajero is quite acceptable. Well done.

  • R.I.P brocky we miss you mate and love ya lots

    you done us praud

  • is it a one way or a 2 way street i cant ember all i know u can only do 60 km/hr

  • It's a two way street.

  • thanks so much for posting this. However I have one question. Was it raining on the day? What a magnificent way to pay homage to Peter Perfect. RIP The King Of Mountain

  • No it was not raining. The footage isn't the best, it was a phone camera.

  • Thanks for posting that...It takes me back. Did a lap around the circuit early one Sunday morning, August 1980 and it was magic...

++ We miss you Brocky. R.I.P. mate... ++

  • The track would have been different back then, they have made a couple of changes.

  • Too right...especially Conrod Straight, which was just incredible... I can understand why they had to make the changes for safety reasons, though. Still, it's a great circuit and Brocky was THE King of the Mountain -- and always will be for me. The way he'd take it flat out through MacPhillamy Park and on into Skyline...I still reckon nobody else held it so neat and steady through that section like he did but ok maybe I'm biased. ;)

  • hay read the sign no parking on the grass lol nice to show your teibute to the gratest well done

  • R.I.P BROCKY, u wer a true ledgend

  • what car were u in?

  • Mitsubishi Pajero, but I have had Holdens all my life. lol. :)

  • The track is open to the public but normal road rules apply and you have to stick to the 60km/h speed limit.

  • racing lines could be improved lol

Even though i'm a ford fan ill still do it!! R.I.P Brocky!!

IS your camera on the bull bar or something?

  • Yes, on the bullbar of a Pajero, it was a mobile phone stuck on with heaps of sticky tape.

  • Oh ok not bad for a mobile phone,

Thats all i would use lol no way id stick my $2000.00 cam corder on the front of my car lol!!

When i go for me licence im going to do one of these and put up on here,!!

    V6 Pajero???

    Cheers

  • Yes V6, the mountain is pretty steep, I was down to 2nd gear going up and hard on the brakes coming down. Very memorable though.

  • yeh i know its mt panarama oh ok

  • is that a game?

  • The track is used on a lot of racing games for PS2, Xbox, Nintendos etc. It's a pretty famous track in Australia and around the world. The view is from the bullbar of my car, we wrapped a heap of sticky tape around it to hold it secure.
