"It's not the greatest," doesn't sound humble, it sounds meek. And you're not meek, you are an ARTIST! You breathe life into paper! And you discount the opinion of all the people who think this IS the "greatest drawing." Because it's pretty cool. Don't spoil the illusion. Don't criticize your art. Be boldly proud.

Using a reference photo isn't a cheat, it's a part of your process. You make it sound like anybody could do a drawing like that given a good enough reference photo and set of pencils. I know I couldn't. You have a gift, full of "win" and "awesome." Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! To do the time lapse, I just filmed about an hour of me drawing, then sped it up in iMovie. Nothing special :)

I think I used about 10 colors in all, and the set has about 50. Yeah, to make different shades, you just draw the different colors right on top of each other :)
