  • Doesn't the sled get caked in road salt when riding down the highway?

  • @bedlambikes not if you put a cover on it

  • I assume you need to leave the ramp installed at all times, and the tailgate off? Dealbreaker for me ...

  • @mjbeaton73 all that holds the ramp in is a hitch pin it slides into your trailer hitch witch is pretty cool i just read about it on there web site

  • @youngone190 Looks like you still need to uninstall the tailgate, hence you have no storage. I created a custom set of ramps based on foldable ATV ramps with cross braces. I have a Retrax tonneau cover. Takes me 5 mins to setup, and I put the ramps in the back with the sled. When I reach my destination, I put the ramps in the bed and leave them there, lock the tailgate and Retrax, 100% secure. They consume 25% of my bed, so I still have 75% usable secure, covered storage for everyday use.

  • @mjbeaton73 well that works pretty well to thats what we use for our 4 wheeler a set or ramps and well once i get my dirt bike running ill be loading it to
