It's funny how the ocean only rose a tiny bit after all that ice melted. ( in this video) I grew up on the coast of California and my childhood home is now 40ft off shore!!!! A recent documentary I saw (on Discovery I think)says there was no land bridge or else it closed up so that humans could not use it. It's now thought that some of the native Americans sailed along the edge of the ice sheet until they got to inhabitable land.
