I love Noel, but I would like to hear Julian a bit more. He seems a bit awkward on interviews, but when he does say things they're gold.

yeah the powers that be on tv seem to think the average Boosh fan is no older than 16, probably a lot are but not all of us ;). The presenters on other channels are ok but its just the c4 ones I want fired, immediately!

That could be my Julian bias speaking, everyone always seems to talk to Noely more...I know that's no doubt just the fact it is easier to find things to say to Noel...but for GOD SADCK you are professional interviewers, get him involved!

Yeah, i'm luckly I don't have constraints (or not luckly!) DVD was filmed in Manchester and by all accounts they mucked up a lot...sounds brilliant!

No its true, most of their questions start with 'Noel...?' or 'and Noel..?' and Ju seems too much of a polite chap to butt in :( I like Noel but it isn't fair on Julian and actually Julian usually has far more interesting, relevant things to say :)

i just dont understand why she had to say that stupid thing about Russ. And then what the man said about Noel getting more girls. He didnt exactly look comfortable talking about that, and why would he, they were sposed to talk about the Boosh. C4 need better interviewers, i feel so bad for Ju but in agreement that it wasn't Noels fault. He was still trying to include Ju but thats kinda hard when all the questions are blatantly directed at you.

Some of the interview has been cut out of this hasn't it? When I watched it friday there was a bit where the interviewer asked the audience to raise their hands if they haven't slept with Russell Brand and Noel lifted up Julian's hand as well as his own. Was pretty funny.

I Think Noel and Julian are Equally fabulous.

Noel is the funky, retro, have-to-smile-at one, and Julian is the quiet, cute and mysterious one.

I love them both. :) I think the interviewers found it easier to ask questions to noel because he has a "celebrity life", we know loads about him, but little about julain.

True, it's not Noel's fault, but the fact that we know more about his life is no excuse. There are hundreds of questions they could have asked Julian, and then I think he just didn't bother saying anything at all in the end because he didn't see a point in it. He looked bored and as if he'd rather be anywhere else! Why should he try if the people who are interviewing him aren't? (cont...)

(...cont) Noel did try to include him, but it just wasn't working. If Steve and Lauren had bothered to do their research properly (and therefore, their job!) they could have got a lot more out of it. They could have asked more about the book and the tour, and they could have asked Julian about the music at least. And why on earth did Lauren feel it important to bring up Brand?! That was stupid even for her.

Still. at least the backstage bit later with the Boys made up for the shoddy interview!

i dont think that was really NF's fault, bcos JB is usually quite quiet so if NF said nothing the interview may have ended up v.v. awkward.

& then they directed all the questions at NF, cos they know more about him. so i think it was the interviewers fault more than anything, but i dont know.

they were both good on jonathon ross recently though, so i think JB's getting better with it.

also, what did that girl say during the russell brand bit? when NF turned round and said thanks?

Tbh i think Julian was either hung over or just very tired lol :P And he has always been a bit quieter in interviews than noel anyway.

Plus it aint really Noels fault the questions were directed mainly to him, so he was just answering the questions!

This really was the worst interview ever wasn't it? =(

It really was making me cringe last night when I watched it. I felt so sorry for Ju after this. I love Noel so much but this was supposed to be a Mighty Boosh interview not a Noel Fielding suck up fest! Every question was directed at him. Julian looked so bored, bless him!

Thanks for putting it up though, it's definately worth it, just to see Julian so hot! =P He looks gorgeous here!

We're used to Noely talking more but this was just out of order, I know Ju don't talk alot but are you surprised if you don't ask him anything!
