At first i was like WTF??? swimming? and i found out its a glitch. then u read description and it says it cant damange bosses that much. well, quite useless sometimes. but a good glitch nonetheless. and funny thing is Kratos wears a character from PAIN, its a cow costume i think. lol
AKheon I found 2 glitches here. One is that when you open the door in the hall of flamin' balls and you go into the hall it lengthens when Kratos goes in. The second is that if you do a high jump to the platform that breaks it'll break and you can climb up it even though you can't turn the boss wheel and you can't see where you are going, also if you leave the broken platform and complete the challenge and return to open the boss wheel the platform will have mysteriously repaired itself.
Very Impressive. I notice the vid starts and you already have "swimmingness" how do you go about acquiring this trick? Is Dairy Bastard a necessity or will regen magic do?
Not necessarily, depends on where you want to activate this glitch. Getting to some places takes helluva lot of magic, which is when the Dairy Bastard is needed. Some spots are easier.
It's so great to see that a classic game like God of War is still delivering new gameplay experiences after all the time and attention dedicated to it.
Man this is way out there. Surprising that you can actually turn the wheel and begin the battle while swimming. The only skip I found here was after I acquired the AoH I glitched through the wall but its a very small time saver, if at all.
Easy, yes but like I said its not much faster assuming you have regen. magic. All I did was use the BoA to go over the wall and fall into the hall behind Hades. I didn't even think to glitch into the wall beside him and walk in the wall and out the room. That could be faster.
Maybe, if you can retrace your steps to the small puddle from which you can start swimming. But you can't open the casket and rip off the skull from its owner while swimming, so it would serve no purpose.
After you've inserted the second skull in its place, there's a relatively easy spot (for infinite magic) in which to activate the swimming glitch right inside the Rings. I'd wait until then, since you can't leave CoH without losing "swimmingness".

Not having to fight that horde of enemies in front of Hades's mugshot? If its easy and fast to do, of course its useful.

I happened to try this out myself, and found out there's an invisible ledge over Hades's mug. It seems fastest to use that.

Can you get the skull after the guardian while swimming? You can enter swimming again after the minotaur, right?
