Its a shame....for some reason this particular episode of the series doesn't have the same whimsical style of animation. The lines are too harsh, the colours too staunch...

Probably reflects the same disinterest Beatrix Potter had in her rabbit characters by now. Interesting to note, but still a cute episode!

I am blessed to have watched Beatrix Potter when I was little.However I am sad for the generation after me.. Who are no longer faced with such cozy and real children s shows. Computer animated shit is not what touch's the heart.

Keep in mind that these books were published at the turn of the century, when marrying your first cousin was not that uncommon. You can get away with it from time to time, but repeating it over many generations and well, go look up Charles II of Spain.

@ccrstarpanda It could also be that this was a somewhat more acceptable thing to do back in the day of her writings. A lot of famous people as well as royals married their cousins then.

@ccrstarpanda That and in those days it was common for cousins to marry. You may even notice that most royal families are related. And yes I agree it is weird, but that was the way things were.

Oh my gosh, I haven't seen this in -ages-! I used to have these little stories on video, and the books as well. This one I used to hate in particular because of the bugs. But now it's rather cute that they talk. xP Thanks for uploading this classic!
