@EncircleMeDais I saw an interview from back in the day where Tegan was explaining the song; it was written as a bit of a shot to the bands they used to open for while they were starting out that treated them like crap. Now that they've "made it," I guess she finds it a bit hard to identify with. Plus, it is a little angst-y, which is a bit more of a teen/young adult thing.

How could anyone dislike this video?! You can hear sheer pain in Tegan's vocals. Its makes you want to cry. This performance beats my favourite performance "Dark Come Soon" on Spinner. You can feel everything she is singing. Its unreal. But just so fucking amazing!
