  • W Walker M Standof

  • Brouchard was one bad ass villain and smart, and he would of been great with Bruce Willis in a Die Hard film,

  • @HypocriteSkeleton3, true. Or actually they could bring back the character in the new Expendables movie coming out this year. The downside is the actor who portrays him, namely Robin Sachs, didn't do much afterwards and is stuck in b-list status in some forgettable roles-such as that loser Ethan Rayne on Buffy.

  • 2:09 Consecutive headshots.

  • I love it - right through the damn window! That's also a hell of a kick by Walker (Norris) at 1:53.

  • This is probably one of Walker's toughest fights ever in the show's history.

  • @walkerchuck1993 you got that right brouchard was one smart, tough sob.

  • @jasonhylnd001, true. I believe that Broushard's character was a homage to the Jackal who was an international assassin and master of disguise. He was the show's best villain in my opinion as the ones before and after him weren't as interesting or dangerous. I liked the way how he manipulated the release of that druglord just so he could kill him and make everyone think it was a hostage situation.

  • @walkerchuck1993, true. However, Walker's toughest fights would be against the Hammer, the super soldier Boris, that huge bodyguard Felix, the Chinese warrior Chang, that Tong leader with the dragon statue as well as those three Korean agents in Trial By Fire.

  • It's hard to tell did that guy get stabbed by window or did he just go unconcious after he looked at Walker?

  • @railfanstreator94 just went unconcious.

  • @railfanstreator94, I believe he went unconscious.

  • A great Die Hard type 2 hour episode, good I thing I got it on DVD!

  • This was definately the most Jason Bourne-like fight of the series....................

  • @tj526, I would love to actually put Broushard against Bourne, James Bond, Ethan Hunt or even Hanna, Salt or that girl from Colombiana played by Zoe Saldana. Or better yet put him in the new Expendables movie this year.

  • I love all the opinions on Trent Malloy vs Gage against "The Hammer", and who would've or would not have put up a better fight, etc. It wouldn't have mattered if BRUCE LEE was cast in the role! Whatever the script called for, that's what was going to happen. Trent would've not fared any better if the script called for the same result. Sheeesh! It's just a television show! LOL!

  • @tonyrocco55, we're entitled to our opinion as you with yours, bro. But let's face facts Trent is a way better fighter than Gage and has much better showings. Trent was trained by Walker himself and is acknowledged as his best student. Gage on the other hand has less impressive showings and basically comic-relief. It's debatable if Trent would have won against the Hammer but he wouldn't have been thrown around so easily like Gage. Bruce is too great to mentioned in this debate.

  • this is what happens when you try Chick Norris' gangster

  • I love the episode higher power mainly because of the fight at the end.

  • @jasonhylnd001, so true. Chang basically owned Walker in that fight but his skills were no match for one factor-Norris Force, which dictates that no matter what, Chuck Norris must always win. LOL.

  • I agree that Trivette should have been there in the end but they put gage and sydney instead I feel one of them should have been hospitalized instead I mean I like them but Trivette has been on the show since day one you know. Anyway do you remember the villain Cobalt from the earlier seasons I thought he was funny.

  • @jasonhylnd001, I so agree. How are the writers going to put Walker's longtime cast member and partner on the sideline like that for two new characters that were only a part of the show for two seasons? I guess this was one of my gripes with Sidney and Gage as characters because I kinda felt like they were forced on the viewers due to the fact that Trent and Carlos were gone. Plus, Sidney and Gage were not very interesting characters and could only kick butt in my opinion.

  • Yeah I think shrader is a better villain combat wise but Lavocot to me was alot more dangerous. Not knocking off Shrader but I think it was the dragonfly that was dangerous not really shrader.

  • @jasonhylnd001, agreed but Shrader was more interesting. Like I said, Lavacott was too comical in a sense to connect with or find interesting-the guy came off like a James Bond villain in a sense. Plus, I hated the fact that they retconned CD's death to show how evil he was and it sucked that they took Trivette out of action in the series finale. I mean Trivette should have been there with Walker and co. to fight Lavacott in the series finale

  • Thats what I said on this other website that trent would put up a better fight against the hammer but yeah whats your favorite villain that marshall teaugue played? For me it would have to be either lavacot or randy shrader.

  • @jasonhylnd001, I prefer Shrader over Lavacott because he like Broushard, Caleb Hooks, Ranger Bodine, Keith Bolt, etc was basically an anti-walker villain. Although the fight scene between Shrader and Walker wasn't that good, he was basically what Walker would be if he went to the dark side.

Lavacott on the other hand was just too cartoonish to me and was basically a bald Snidely Whiplash. I half expected him to tie some damsel to a traintrack at some point-plus, the fight scene was lame.

  • "Most people don't know this but the guy that Chuck is fighting was played by several actors, because each one kept dying due to Chuck's bone shattering hits"

  • Oh but yeah I have to say the toughest walker villain is boris from episode warriors. I mean did you see that guy he was like ivan drago from rocky.

  • @jasonhylnd001, so true. Also I would include the Hammer from the "Fight Or Die" episode as the fight between them was pretty even-I liked the part where the Hammer almost killed Gage and forced Walker to save his butt. I am willing to bet that Trent would have put up a better fight than Gage did against the Hammer

  • By the way ever see the episode "an innocent man" from the first season? I remember the bad guy Leon muncie scared the crap out of me when I first saw it when I was little because of his eyes but he wasn't even that dangerous not for walker at least.

  • @jasonhylnd001, I didn't see it unfortunately.

  • Yeah but Virgil cheapshotted him I think walker would have won a little earlier if that hadn't happen but I still think thats one of the things that made him a good villain.

  • @jasonhylnd001, true but it was a good fight nonetheless.

  • Brouchard is my all time favorite villain on walker he's better than larue, hooks, shrader and even lavocot. I'm kinda glad they didn't bring robin sachs back to play another bad guy in future episodes because they would have made him look weak.

  • @jasonhylnd001, so true. Sachs portrayal as Broushard was so epic that to recast him would ruin that. Although he was wasn't the toughest Walker villain he was one of the most dangerous. All the others were also good but they weren't as intriguing or interesting.

  • its all ways the window!!!!

  • he never uses the dam gun

  • @richardconter only if he has to he's not a coward.

  • @jasonhylnd001 he never really needs to use the gun because he can own anyone or anything without that dam gun! Only thing i remember he used is a rocket launcher but only cus he was fighting a stealth helicopter.

  • @SpecterSlashZ, you're talking about Operation: Dragonfly, right? That was another good episode with another good villain and actor. Shrader was almost as dangerous as Broushard was but was not as good a fighter-nonetheless, they were two of Walker's best villains along with Caleb Hooks and those 3 Korean guys from that TV movie.

  • are there really assasins like brouchard and "the jackall, bruce willis" its been a while but i remember there was a part where Bruce sprays this aeresol on the door handle and the guy pukes foam

  • Yes, I believe there are hired killers out there that use the same modus operandi but they are not as glorified in the real world though.

Funny enough, I believe that the Brouchard character on Walker was in fact inspired by the Jackal character from the original movie starring Edward Fox as they were both European guys who were masters of disguise. Also, they had another guy on Walker named the Viper who was inspired by both Brouchard and the Jackal interestingly.

  • I forgot to add that there was a few other episodes where Walker fought some criminal stuntmen, a former friend of his called Yoshi, one where he and Trivette went to Mexico to rescue a friend of his, a chinese friend of Walker fighting a bad guy played by James Lew and where Marshall Teague played a businessman that tried to kill Walker-I think that might have been the second season though. Correct me if me I am wrong.

  • I humbly confess that I didn't really start to follow Walker until the "Standoff" storyline with Brouchard which got me hooked on the show-I did see a few ones before such as the one where Walker fought a guy called Ranger Bodine and another guy called Virgil( Also good villains) though.

The episodes I liked apart from "Standoff" where "Sons Of Thunder", "Warzone", "Higher Power", "Everday Heroes", "Dragonfly", "The Ghost Rider", "Soul Of Winter", "The Principal" and several others to name.

  • "The principal " if I remember correctly the bad guy is the same actor who played the FBI agent in 2 fast 2 furious.

  • Pretty much. You hit the nail on the head, my friend.

  • @kherubhm Yeah I remember that episode with Virgil called "branded" call me dumb but I actually was fooled by him I didn't think he was bad at first. When I watch that episode I always ask myself how did I not know he was bad when he didn't want walker to go in the dead cops house.

  • @jasonhylnd001, so was I. Virgil was also a good villain who almost took Walker in a fight but he was no Broushard unfortunately.

  • yeah that episode made me kinda mad i was waiting the whole episode to see walker and hooks fight again but anyway i gotta ask what is your favorite episode from the first season of walker? i'm asking about the first season because it seems everyone likes the later episodes. i really liked an innocent man.

  • Yeah brouchard definitely has the brains to escape from prison i wonder why chuck norris brought larue back instead of brouchard?

  • I think that if they brought back Brouchard they would have dumbed him down, Jason. Remember when they brought back Caleb Hooks a second time, the confrontation between them was so lame as Walker ended up just shooting him instead of fighting him.

Sometimes good villains are determined by impact rather than how much they are used-otherwise they become redundant characters.

Plus, I think they gave some of Brouchard's qualities to characters like the Viper, Donovan Riggs and Lazarus.

  • Your right max kale would get murdered if he ever ran into brouchard or larue. so you seem like a big walker texas ranger fan do you have any of the seasons on dvd? i have 1-6 and i'm waiting to get the seventh and final season.

  • Again we agree for the most part. Brouchard would actually kill both La Rue and Kale with relative ease because Brouchard is essentially Walker without restaints or compassion.

I would love to have seen a story where Brouchard returns and kills most of Walker's friends and loved ones like Sydney, Gage, Carlos and beats Trent worst than Donovan Riggs just to get payback on Walker for thwarting him before they faced off again.

    Unfortunately, I don't own a dvd player so no I don't. Sorry.

  • this episode had some weird "psychic stuff" i mean how could he know exactly where walker could be? its like he could sense him or somtin

  • That's because Brouchard is the Anti-Walker, bro! He is basically what Walker would be if he ever went over to the dark-side. Both characters obviously have had the same type of training and methods, so it's easy to understand how he could relate to Walker so well. I think he even said when he escaped out of the tunnel that he and Walker would have made a good team if they were to work together.

  • I got some good news i just read that the 7th season will come out march 9, 2010.

  • no questions you are right i only asked the question because usually when i hear ppl talk about walker villains it's always larue or max kale, nothing about brouchard

  • They actually mention Max Kale-that Unabomber wannbe-as one of Walker's most dangerous villains? Obviously a lot of these people have never watched as many Walker episodes as some of us here, Jason. I will admit that Kale was dangerous but he is a joke compared to Brouchard, La Rue or guys like Randy Shrader or Caleb Hooks. In fact, I would put Max Kale with d-list villains like the Chairman or Bart Hawkins.

Between the both of us, Brouchard takes it, followed by La Rue, Hooks, Shrader, etc.

  • yea ur right

  • who do you guys think was a better villain brouchard or larue? i say brouchard.

  • Obviously Brouchard, bro! La Rue was more twisted and evil than Brouchard but he wasn't as skillful or as dangerous. La Rue at his worst only managed to rape and terrorize Alex, hold a court room hostage and get off on a technicallity but was taken down twice by Walker before being killed by him.

Brouchard however almost killed CD, held up a ballroom to get a dug dealer released just so he could kill him, was wanted internationally and almost killed Walker on several occasions. Any questions?

  • i know what choreography is by the way you spelled it wrong lol.

  • yea broushard really is the best villain walker had to go through alot just to finally beat him.

  • I wonder if assasains exist in real life, I mean ive seen movies like the jakal (bruce willis)

  • walker vs ? who

  • It's called coreography............this guy was made to "look awefully good" against a 6 time REAL world campion martial arts fighter Chuck Norris.

    Jeff

  • True! Although Chuck Norris is a better fighter, Robin Sachs is a much better actor, so it evens out quite nicely.

  • the bitch is weak

  • There's a scene where Walker tells Trivitte this guy is the most dangrous man he's ever known.

  • this villain was rele good and gave walker a run for his money.

  • I think that Broushard was the best Walker villain in the series because he came close to killing Walker on more than one occasion. Although Victor La Rue, Caleb Hooks and Marshall Teague in his various incarnations were also formidable, Broushard was much more of a threat than all of them-Even Walker admitted he was the most dangerous man he ever met. I

  • That's the best way to end a fight, aim the guy toward a glass pane. Why? Because when he hits that glass pane the shattering and the pain he'll get from that broken glass should be enough to knock him out for good.

  • @55 seconds it looks like that guy is possesed

  • Hooah what a fight .
