I'm surprised this documentary didn't talk more about the heartbreak on how the Avalanche's 2000 run ended, with Bourque's first attempt at the tying goal blocked and his second shot hitting the post. I saw that live. It was a thrilling hockey game.

@CursEfiction It's because they were facing the DEFENDING STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS. They were underdogs cause people thought New Jersey would repeat and win again... That and since they were the best 1999-2000 and returned to the finals, they are considered better since Colorado is back in the Finals since 1996.

Here I will call Bourque and tell him to give back the ring and award after being one of the most winning defensemen ever in the NHL, having to leave the native team he captained to get a chance to win Stanley after 21 SEASONS!!! Because he OBVIOUSLY did not deserve it.
