Okay, So I think I'm a little confused. I think I already know you're using a mic with omnidirectional capabilities(of course I could be wrong), and you recorded gang vocals twice on the same track. I figure you're just thickening it up but why not two tracks?

There isn't even a P4 clockspeed @ 1.2ghz...

Tracking / replaying what he tracked would lag like fuck, singlecore + recording = no way. Spesh if you're recording with multiple layers.

Dude chill. I know the specs of everything in his studio, the guy is my neighbor basically. Haha. And that particular machine he was recording on at the time was a quad core, 4GB RAM, running XP. :)
