  • Wow can trees bend......and you were without power for five days....just horrible, thank God you were not hurt !!!!

  • Hey Stephanie, Thanks for commenting. Actually it was more like two weeks without power. Right after I took these pictures I had to drive to work that evening. Little did I know I could have stayed home without getting attendance points, I got a little upset when I learned that all the people who stayed home in the town that I live in did not get any points. I had to drive 30 miles in that storm.

  • Wow, yes I hear you,

God for sure got you through that one Praise the Lord.

We didn't get it here in Orlando, it was North of us, but what terrible flooding there was from it for them.

It passed us by that time, but then along came, I think it was Jean, she was a bad one.

Then geesh, I can't remember that last one, I'm sure you remember.

Anyway, we had to stay in a motel to wait it out, we live in a moble home.

Our street was a mess, but little damage thank God, I DO..

    Amen.

  • Yeah, if only his winds Stayed that nice, he was no friend.

Our state of Florida got some of him he was one of the train of hurricanes we got that year, 04'.

Even non- believers prayed that hurricane season.

There are no non believers in fox holes so they say.

    Amen.

  • I had to drive to work that evening of Hurricane Ike. And trust me it was scary!!! Then when we got to work all the lights went OUT!!!! So they sent us back home' And it was more scary driving home then it was going. All the street light were OFF!!! Power lines were down!!! Driving through town was like another world every thing looks different when there are NO LIGHTS AT ALL!!! Only the head lights of your car. My lights at home were off for about two weeks.

  • Nice yard. It would make a great backdrop for a music video! Reminds me of a golf coures in a way too...always a good thing!

    Glad you survived the storm!

    Rick

  • With all of the holes that my dogs have dug you could call it a golf course. But I would take extreem caution when retrieving the ball from one of their holes.

  • Wow! that sounds scary being that close to the coast.
